Brad and Savannah are one of the sweetest couples I have ever met. They are both calm, loving, and gentle-spirited. Planning with them was always such a treat. When we began planning, the focus of their wedding was the ceremony and, of course, becoming husband and wife. Details were incorporated into their ceremony that reminded guests what is truly at the heart of a wedding- God, Love, Honor, Respect and Sacrifice.
They chose to say, "I Do" in Kirkland Chapel at Camp Loughridge. It's a serene A-framed Chapel with windows that overlook Lake Parthenia. From there, the guests enjoyed taking the Old Urban Trolley to the reception at the Temple Conference Center. What a fun and memorable experience for guests!
When planning for my couples, I strive to incorporate their hobby/passions into their wedding day for that extra personalized touch. One unique element Brad & Savannah chose was their love for Lego's. They incorporated this hobby by placing a Lego build kit at each place setting to entertain the guests during the reception. The adults enjoyed it just as much as the kids did! A few times, I watched guests grab another kit from a different table and do that one too! To top off the Lego theme, Merritt's Bakery designed the delicious four-tiered white textured cake that was adorned by a bride and groom made of Lego's that Brad and Savannah put together. It was perfectly them and the guests enjoyed the unique experience!
The grand exit was lined with guests throwing chopped ivory hydrangea petals in celebration of the love they witnessed that day. Brad and Savannah are a sweet loving couple destined for a lifetime of love and happiness. I wish them nothing but the best. Thank you for allowing The Moment By Casey to be a part of your wedding day! It was truly an honor.
